Bible verse of the day

No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Jesus makes the statement in Mark 2:17,
"I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."
How wonderful is this statement? Choosing to build His church from common people to atone a common need could only come from the Heart of God. New Beginnings is comprised of a veritable melting pot of diversity of people. No matter one's social status, people are welcomed and loved at this place. And just as the playing field is level at the foot of the Cross, the atmosphere of genuine care is more than ample at New Beginnings! True, God already knows us, but He wishes for man to know Him on a deeper level. The only way a man can know God personally is through His Son Jesus and the application of Biblical principals and promises. At New Beginnings, all are welcomed and encouraged to participate in worship to gain a clearer understanding of our Savior Jesus Christ. No matter the depths of the sins, God's love is much deeper! Charles Wesley wrote, 'Amazing Love! How can it be, that Thou, my God, should die for me.' No words were expressed more plainly than those, God sent His sinless Son to call sinful people into His folds. We invite you to come and join us as we strive to serve and glorify Jesus Christ! Come and be a part of what God is doing and begin sharing the joy of seeing God's plans unfold before our very eyes.
